Something by Susie

As a very small child I remember when Elvis died.  Although I didn’t really understand at the time what was happening, there were a lots of films with the same man at the time, and then a fatter older man singing alot, with big daisy chains made of different bigger flowers round his neck. I always remember it as it happened a few days after my birthday, and I’d been given a massive cake in the shape of the number 7, it’s good to note I was actually 7, but more so that we sat eating that cake for days after. So oddly I always associate  Elvis dying with eating cake!

There have been many other great historical moments since that time, but none of them had as much cake as Elvis did!
