Something by Susie

Firstly, I don’t think the moon is one of my bucket list destinations. I would, however, prefer a short stay in the space station. An opportunity to see my home from a different perspective, that is ever changing.  To be able to stand back as it were and see the big picture. The changing climates round the world, the shapes and movements of storms. The lights of cities burning into the night sky, sunrise and sunset chasing after each other.  The fact that I believe it would all look peaceful.  The chance to see the world as a whole at peace, that would be priceless. As long as we didn’t get hit by any of the junk we put up into space….because we ‘needed it’.  I’m sure one day the moon will be like any other holiday destination, and we as humans will probably ruin that too.
